Korean fast food chain BB Bop Seoul Kitchen closed its Lower Greenville location this week, according to GuideLive.
Co-owner Sandra Bussey wrote on Facebook that “the dominance of sit down restaurants versus fast casual” was one of the biggest factors in BBBop's closure in that neighborhood, GuideLive reports.
But don’t worry, BB Bop Seoul Kitchen fans – they still have the Upper Greenville and Oak Cliff locations, which will be the main focus of their business going forward, according to the Facebook post.
The name BB Bop is derived from the Korean rice dish called ‘Bi Bim Bop.’
The word ‘Bi Bim Bop’ literally means “mixed rice”. It’s usually served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with assortment of vegetables and meat, mixed with Korean hot pepper paste called Go-Cho-Jang.
