If you’ve never seen a reenactment of traditional Korean royal procession, 2018 Korean Festival of Dallas will be a great opportunity to see it in person.

Among many traditional and modern performances that represent Korean culture, the reenactment of the Korean royal procession promises to be a sight to remember.

According to the Festival committee, up to 200 people will participate in the reenactment. They will be dressed up as Korean kings, queens, warriors, royal servants, and many other characters from the Chosun Dynasty.

The procession will start from outside the H Mart parking lot and circle the shopping center before it makes its way into the main area.

The costumes will be provided by the O-Song Korean Culture Center of Houston.

O-Song Korean Culture Center of Houston is well known around Texas for its colorful and authentic reenactment of royal parades that depict how Korean royal families took their outings hundreds of years ago.

While the exact time of the performance hasn’t been announced, the Korean royal procession will be reenacted twice during the day.
