2016 Annual Korean Festival is set for Saturday, November 12th, 2016.
The venue is the north parking lot of the H-Mart shopping center in Carrollton. It’s the first time the annual event is being held outdoors. North parking lot is the one right behind Omi Korean BBQ buffet.
This year’s festival will feature K-Rock band ‘No Brain’ and K-Pop rapper ‘G2’. In addition, this will be a mix of Korean tradition, food, activities, performances by the local Korean-Americans.
This will be an all-day event, from 11:00AM to 8:30PM. So, you can stop by any time of the day and enjoy Korean food, and other fun stuff.
There is no entrance fee. But you will have to buy your own food. There will be Kimchi and Bibimbop making contest. It’s free to enter and you get to taste your own Kimchi and Bibimbop.
The event is co-hosted by the Korean Society of Dallas and the Korean Consulate Generals Office of Dallas.
The Korean Festival Preparation Committee held its first meeting on Monday, September 2016 to lay out the blueprint for this year’s event. But a lot more details will be announced as they near the event date. Check back with Asia in Dallas for further details.
What is Korean Festival?
Korean Festival is an event where visitors can enjoy Korean food, traditional performance, fun activities, and live performance. Local Korean businesses and organizations run booths and sell some of the most popular and well-known Korean food. Local Korean-Americans will also put up great on-stage performances of all kinds. So, if you are into Korean culture, you can just casually stop by and have some good time.

Who: Open to the general public. No entrance fee is required but you have to buy your own food if you want to eat. Free performances and activities.
