Fort Worth Korean Women’s Association (FWKWA) is hosting ‘2019 Korean Thanksgiving Celebration’ on Saturday, September 14th at the Forest Hill Civic & Convention Center.

 

The event is open to anyone interested in enjoying and learning about the Korean traditional way of celebrating Thanksgiving, called ‘Choo Suk’ in Korean.

 

FWKWA committee held a kick-off meeting Tuesday, July 30th at the Ume restaurant in Fort Worth to iron out details of the event.

This will be the 4th year FWKWA is hosting the event.

 

“This will the 4th time KWKWA is hosting the event. I hope anyone and everyone who are interested in Korean culture join the celebration and have a blast. The event is free and open to public.” said Joyce Hwang who is the president of KWKWA.
