Korean American Professional Network (KAPN) is raising funds to provide PPE (personal protective equipment) for local first responders, who are fighting on the front lines against the COVID-19 pandemic.
KAPN, in partnership with a local Korean American radio station KKDA AM730, set up a Gofundme account to take donations.
“In partnering with DKnet Dallas Korean Radio, KAPN has begun a fundraising campaign to support our local hospitals. All donations will go to providing medical PPE and resources to our Dallas County hospitals and facilities to directly fight COVID-19” said Chase Park, the president of KAPN.
KAPN has been working with local businesses to provide medical professionals with free meals and treats. See the related article here.
KAPN is a Korean-American non-profit organization comprised of 2nd generation Korean-American professionals in North Texas.
KAPN’s primary mission is to provide networking opportunities for Korean-American professionals and mentoring for youths.
