Thanks to the immense support of the Korean and Asian community in Dallas, KAPN (Korean American Professional Network) raised over $17,000 and and donated almost 6,000 masks to Parkland Hospital, City Of Carrollton, TX PD & FD, City of Irving, Texas - City Hall PD & FD, and North Texas Food Bank, according to KAPN president Chase Park.
KAPN conducted the fundraising in partnership with a local Korean American radio station DKNet Radio. Officials from KAPN and DKNet made the donation route on Monday and Tuesday, April 27th and 28th.
“It is wonderful to see the courage of the Korean community and its ability to come together like we always do in these times of crisis and need. We’d like to extend our warmest appreciation and gratitude for everyone’s support during this crisis. Let’s continue to support the greater cause and get through this pandemic together” said Chase Park.
