Two counties north of Dallas saw some of the biggest home sales spikes in November.
Sales of single-family homes by real estate agents were up more than 30% from a year ago in both Collin and Denton Counties, according to the latest update from the MetroTex Association of Realtors.
Home sales for the entire North Texas area were up 23% last month year-over-year.
Dallas County had a 20% rise in sales from November 2019 levels, and sales in Kaufman County were up almost 44%.
Tarrant County continues to lead North Texas in total home sales with 2,296 houses sold by agents last month. Dallas County was second with 2,213 sales.
Most Dallas-Fort Worth area counties saw sizable home price increases in November. Median home prices were up 16.6% year-over-year in Rockwall County. And prices rose almost 14% in Dallas County.
