Folks, the second annual (outdoor) Korean Festival of Dallas is just around the corner. 2017 Korean Festival of Dallas is on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 @ Carrollton H-Mart, rear parking lot.
I know we've seen numerous Korean festivals around North Texas lately. But this is “THE” Korean Festival that you all experienced last year. This year's festival is expected to be even bigger, better, and more fun than last year's event. You will see some of the most familiar performances, as well as new performances you’ve never seen anywhere in Dallas.
Although the preparation committee hasn't announced the official schedule of events, following is an unofficial one, courtesy of Korean Society of Dallas. While some of it may be subject to change, it will give you some idea of how the Korean Festival will unfold.
Opening concert - Country Music(yes, American country music performance at a Korean festival)
At the main stage, Traditional Drum Dance by Ji-Ae Park, Master Choral Choir, Gwang-Gae-Toe Samulnori.
While the performance is being done on the stage, a traditional Korean royal carriage parade(new this year, a must-see) will start at the Gui Rock Korean BBQ and make its way into the event venue and onto the front of the stage.

VIP's will move to the 2018 Pyong Chang Winter Olympic Games ribbon cutting ceremony – another must-see event.
As the ribbon cutting ceremony concludes, there will be special effects of artificial snow spread for one hour. Yes, you get to see the snow in Dallas early this year!
VIP's will then move to the Giant Bi-Bim-Bop station, where they will mix up the Bi-Bim-Bop and people get to taste it.
