Gain international teaching experience through the best public school programs supporting English education in South Korea, Teach and Learn in Korea(TaLK).

 

The Teach and Learn in Korea(TaLK) Program invites young, adventurous college students and recent graduates to teach English to elementary school students living in the rural areas of South Korea. While teaching, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the many facts of Korean culture and find time to travel to distinct regions of the Korean peninsula.

 

1. Eligibility

Native English speaker and citizen of one of the designated countries Associate’s degree or enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (3rd year or higher)

 

2. Scholarship Term

6 months contract (August 1, 2018 ~ January 31, 2019) or 1 year contract.

 

3. Benefits and Accommodation

Entrance and exit allowance(approximately $1,200), medical insurance coverage, monthly stipend(approximately $1,400), field trips, one-month orientation, settlement allowance, vacation leave, scholarship completion certificate

 

4. Application Process & Timeline

Visit www.talk.go.kr and go to Apply Now. Create a TaLK My Page and complete the online application. Print, sign and submit the application along with hard copies of all required documents to Houston Korea Education Center Address: 1990 Post Oak Blvd. Suite 750, Houston TX, 77056. Deadline: June 22, 2018
