Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) DFW Chapter is hosting its annual fall seminar on Saturday, October 27th, 2018.

This year’s speakers include Brian Park of American Airlines and Professor Won Hwa Kim of UT-Arlington.

Brian Park, a senior analyst with AA, will talk about ‘Effective Project Management and Leadership Development.’

This will cover issues that are helpful to the Korean-Americans who are transitioning from ‘Korean job environment’ to ‘American job environment.’

Korean-Americans who migrate from Korea to U.S. often face cultural barriers at their jobs. Brian Park will talk about his own experiences in overcoming these issues and provide helpful tips.

Professor Won Hwa Kim, an artificial intelligence expert, will present ‘Recommendation using AI: Multivariate Signal Recovery on Graphs.’ Don’t get scared off by the complexity of topic – Professor Kim will present it in a commonsensical way so anyone can understand.

The seminar is free. Although the seminar is open to the public, speakers will present their topics in Korean.

KSEA DFW will also be holding a fun networking event after the seminar, with lots of free giveaways. To participate in the event, pre-registration is required.

For more information, contact KSE DFW at ksea.north.texas@gmail.com or check out its website at nt.ksea.org.

KSEA was established in 1971 as a non-profit professional organization and has grown to over 6,000 registered members with 70 Local Chapter and Branches, 30 Affiliated Professional Societies, 13 Technical Groups across the United States.
