With the 2018 Korean Festival of Dallas just behind us, announcement for another Korean cultural event is circulating on social network media.

Kimchi Kon, presumably derived from a popular K-POP event called ‘KCON’, is a Korean convention run by students, for students and anyone who is interested in Korean culture, according to its Facebook introduction.

Kimchi Kon is currently in the planning phase and updates are constantly uploaded on its Facebook page (@kimchi2019)

The event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at the South Campus of Tarrant County College.

Vendors and performers are encouraged to participate in the event. More information is available on its Facebook page.

With the Korean Festival of Dallas covering the fall season, Kimchi Kon has a potential to be the biggest spring time Korean cultural event in Dallas Fort Worth.
