Texas Christian University is offering a class in Korean traditional tea ceremony. This will be a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning more about Korean traditional culture.
The class includes a short introduction to the Korean Tea ceremony and its history.
The class will focus on how tradition has become a way to heal the body and mind.
The tea ceremony is called “Dado” (way of tea) or “Dare” (etiquette for tea) in Korean.
It is an art form and a time-honored ceremony rooted in Korean Tradition.
Koreans are finding an escape from the pressures of daily life through “Dado”, the traditional art of drinking tea.
Professor Nicole O. Conrad is teaching the class. She has performed Korean Tea Ceremony in numerous cultural events around North Texas.
